Responsibilities and Duties:


  • Support the management of daily operations within the Catering Facility to ensure smooth and efficient service delivery for all flights.
  • Coordinate the timely delivery of food and non-food supplies to the catering facility and monitor preparation, loading, and offloading activities to aircraft.
  • Assist in developing and maintaining galley loading plans and trolley packing plans for all inflight products offered for sale on-board.
  • Support management of crew meals including menu planning and supply across all flights.
  • Coordinate with vendors and suppliers for on-board products and assist in evaluating new products for J9 Shop and duty-free offerings.
  • Support contract management processes, pricing negotiations, and procurement coordination to ensure quality and cost efficiency.
  • Assist in managing relationships with food suppliers and support review of J Café inflight menu options to maintain product quality and consistency.
  • Prepare periodic reports on catering and on-board retail performance, including sales analysis and cost monitoring.
  • Monitor sales performance by route and passenger profile to support wastage control and optimize trolley loading based on demand.
  • Review customer feedback and Customer Satisfaction Survey results related to catering and retail services and support implementation of improvement actions.
  • Coordinate LPO creation, invoice verification, and supplier payment follow-ups with Finance to ensure timely processing.
  • Monitor competitor airline catering and on-board retail offerings and pricing trends.
  • Coordinate with internal stakeholders including Marketing, Ground Operations, Finance, and Cabin Services to ensure alignment and operational efficiency.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, safety standards, and quality requirements.


Requirements and Qualifications:


  • Bachelor degree in Hospitality Management, Business Administration, Aviation Management, (or equivalent).
  • Minimum 8–10 years of experience in airline catering, inflight services, or similar operational/commercial role.
  • Strong commercial and financial acumen.
  • Experience in vendor management, procurement, and contract negotiation.
  • Excellent customer service and stakeholder management skills.
  • Strong leadership and coordination capabilities.
  • Excellent communication and reporting skills.
  • High attention to detail and quality standards.
  • Excellent English communication and writing skills.
  • Proficiency in MS Office applications.
